We did it!

Birmingham City Council have refused the planning that would have seen a family home on Gravelly Lane converted to a 7-bed HMO.

Commenting on the decision, Paulette Hamilton MP said, “I’m absolutely delighted to say that following an amazing local campaign, the proposed 7-bed HMO on Gravelly Lane has today been refused by Birmingham City Council.

“A huge thanks to everyone who backed the campaign as I know the news came as a huge relief for many local people in Erdington.

“I was proud to campaign alongside local residents in stopping the 209th HMO in our community, but the work continues!”
