I’m really pleased to announce that Renata from SS. Mary and John’s Catholic Primary School is the winner of my Christmas Card competition this year! Her card was chosen from a huge number of entries from schools in our constituency. It featured a beautiful Christmas tree scene with a message of peace and joy. I had the honour of presenting her card to the Speaker of the House of Commons, Sir Lindsay Hoyle MP, who was very impressed by her talent and creativity.

I would also like to congratulate the runners-up, Valentina also from SS. Mary John’s Catholic Primary School and Burham from Kings Rise Academy, whose cards were equally amazing.

Well done, everyone! You have made me and our community very proud. Thank you for taking part in this competition and for sharing your wonderful designs. I hope you all have a merry Christmas and a happy new year!
