Birmingham, a city with a proud military history, is home to over 70,000 veterans. Recent census data reveals that 35% of these veterans are over the age of 80.

However, despite the government’s pledge to eradicate homelessness among veterans, the reality on the ground paints a starkly different picture. Each month, up to 180 veterans’ households find themselves without a place to call home, a situation that is both unacceptable and avoidable.

Paulette asked the Minister responsible. what measures are being to ensure that the veterans of Birmingham, and across the country, are not left homeless?
