Paulette Hamilton Labour MP for Birmingham Erdington
On the evening of Thursday 3rd October, around 30 Kingstanding residents attended the Crime Conference hosted by local MP Paulette Hamilton. Guest speakers included the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner Simon Foster and the local police.
The aim of the conference was to tackle crime and antisocial behaviour in Kingstanding by working together on local initiatives. These initiatives include Street Watch, Speed Watch and Neighbourhood Watch. Several residents committed to exploring ways to work with the police and partners to support these local efforts.

Commenting on the event, Paulette Hamilton said, “Addressing crime and antisocial behaviour in Kingstanding is a top priority for residents. That’s why we’re working together to organise community initiatives aimed at building trust and keeping our neighbourhood safe.”
