Paulette Hamiton MP spent the afternoon engaging with residents and local groups at the vibrant Summer Fun Day on Erdington High Street, an event she described as a “brilliant” showcase of community spirit.
The event brought together a wide array of community organisations and local services, creating a festive atmosphere on the high street. Paulette took the opportunity to host a pop-up surgery, meeting directly with constituents to listen to their concerns and discuss local issues.
Paulette said, “It was fantastic to see Erdington High Street so alive with energy and community spirit.
“Seeing so many brilliant local groups and vital services coming together, all engaging with residents, is exactly what makes our community so special.”
During the event, Paulette also caught up with crews from the West Midlands Fire Service, thanking them for their participation and ongoing work to keep local residents safe.
The Summer Fun Day is a fantastic festival that underscored the strength and vibrancy of our community networks and provides a valuable opportunity for local residents.
