Paulette Hamilton Labour MP for Birmingham Erdington

Our community in Gravelly Hill is a place of families, neighbours, and shared streets. It’s a place we are proud to call home.
That’s why I was so concerned to learn that a family home on your street is at risk of being lost, and replaced with a 9-bed House in Multiple Occupation (HMO).
Planning applications like this one threaten the character of our neighbourhood. A development of this size, in a residential area, is simply not appropriate. It puts immense pressure on local parking, waste collections, and the quiet enjoyment we all deserve in our own homes.
I have launched a campaign to formally oppose this application, and I need you to stand with me.
We must send a clear, united message to the Planning Department that our community is not the right place for this kind of oversized, disruptive development.
I am calling on every local resident to back this campaign. Please, add your name to my petition today.
Your signature will show the strength of local opposition and help me make the case for our community.
