Victory for local residents as Birmingham City Council refuses the planning application for a 9-bed HMO on St Dominic’s Road.
The decision follows a concerted campaign by local residents, who raised concerns about the potential impact of the large HMO on the community and neighbourhood character. Paulette Hamilton MP worked alongside constituents, to take this issue head-on.
Paulette said, “I’m delighted to say, following our strong local campaign, the planning application has been refused.
“This is a testament to the power of a community speaking with one voice. A huge thanks to everyone who backed the campaign, signed petitions, and made their views known to the planning committee. Your dedication has made this outcome possible.”
