We have a winner of a local Christmas Card 2025 competition, which Paulette Hamilton MP proudly presenting to the Speaker of the House of Commons.

The competition saw entries from primary schools across the constituency, with Thomas from Abbey Catholic Primary School as the overall winner. The runners-up were from Kings Rise Academy who also had excellent designs.

The winning artwork was formally presented to the Speaker of the House, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, in Parliament, a unique honour for the young local resident. Thomas’s prize includes complimentary tickets to enjoy a match from Aston Villa Football Club and the runners-up received prizes from Amazon.

Paulette Hamilton MP said, “A huge congratulations to Thomas from Abbey Catholic Primary and to all the runners-up from Kings Rise Academy.

“It was a privilege to present his fantastic winning design to the Speaker of the House. I hope he enjoys his well-deserved day out at Villa Park!
